Jerry Mulligan is an American striving to make it as a painter in Paris. Following an ecounter with a dancer named Lise, the streets of Paris become the backdrop to a senseous reomance of art, friendship and love in the aftermath of war.
The stage production of An American in Paris had its world premiere at the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris in December 2014, before opening at Broadway's Palace Theatre in April 2015. The London production openeed in the Dominion Theatre in London's West End in March 2017 where it was greeted with fantastic five-star reviews from 28 different publications. Inspired by the Oscar-winning film of the same name which starred Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron, the stage production of An American in Paris features many of George and Ira Gershwins most iconic songs including I Got Rythm, 'S Wonderful, I'll Build a Stariway To Paradise and They Can't Take That Away from Me.
