Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, the Britannia Concert Band has decided to postpone their show scheduled for 23rd May until the Autumn. We will, of course, provide you with an update for a revised date the moment more information becomes available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Celebrating the World of Military Band Music truly reflects the repertoire of the Britannia Concert Band whose roots can be traced back to 1866.

Of course, there will be the world-renowned marching music of John Philip Sousa and Kenneth Alford but there will be a host of other genres. Expect to hear standard classical pieces alongside modern musicals and music composed especially for the Concert Band. In this year of Percy French’s anniversary, don’t be surprised to hear The Mountains of Mourne or some of his other gems.

You will be impressed by the wealth of talented players under the direction of Stewart Smith. An evening NOT to be missed!
