The joy and heartache of young love in Paris is perfectly captured in this stellar production by The Royal Opera, with spectacular designs that evoke both the poverty of the bohemians’ attic home and the splendour of Paris’s shopping arcades on Christmas Eve.

Puccini’s score for La Bohème is regarded as one of his most beautiful and it’s not hard to see why it’s one of the best-loved operas worldwide and the opera most performed at the Royal Opera House.
