Mary-Joyce was born in Mauritius, a small African island in the Indian Ocean off the southern coast of

Africa. After soaking up cultures in various corners of the world, she moved to Derry in 2012. This is her

first solo exhibition which embodies and celebrates her experiences and time spent in different countries,

hence suitably named ‘One Culture’.
