Hub 47

Hub 47 - Stimulating creativity, sparking imaginations, broadening horizons

Hub 47 saw the Waterside Theatre work in partnership with 10 community and cultural organisations from across the Waterside area to create, develop and deliver inspirational learning opportunities through the arts to those most in need in society.

This exciting new pilot project was delivered between January and March 2017 and benefited those living in areas of high deprivation and/or interface areas, young people and adults with disabilities, older vulnerable adults and people of different political and religious backgrounds.

Hub 47 enabled Waterside Theatre to deliver high quality artistic programmes that were tailored to the specific needs of each group to help tackle issues such as lack of service provision, poverty, inequality and social exclusion.

We are currently seeking funding to expand this vital work in the community.
