COVID-19 (coronavirus) Update

Wed 18th March 2020

Update Wednesday 18th March 2020 -

Following the most recent government directive, in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff, Waterside Theatre has taken the difficult decision to close to the public until 31 st March, at which point we will review our re-opening date in line with government advice.

We are currently working with artists and organisers of events that were scheduled to take place before 31 st March to assign alternative dates. Most of these events will be rescheduled for the autumn but it is likely a few may have to be cancelled. Original tickets purchased for postponed events will remain valid for rescheduled dates, which will be announced in the coming days. We will be in touch with all customers affected by cancelled shows over the next few days to arrange refunds. Please do not come in person to our Box Office.

Waterside Theatre apologises for any inconvenience caused and we wish to thank all our customers for their support and patience during this difficult time. Please stay safe.

If you require further information contact our Box Office on 02871 31 4000.
